He sees his cat and realizes it was the girl who killed his father. Why didn't he say anything? Was he scared, did he not care? It just seems to me like that is definitely something you should bring up lol
He didn't care. He almost brought it up at the end when he stopped the car, but just like he told her at the power plant: if there was a big storm, would it matter?

He cared, however he more or less sealed his father's fate when he threw him out with a stash of drugs & money. His father would eventually overdose or be killed for his stash.
On another note, I wonder if the cat belonged to her the whole time.
