People are so stupid lol.

I haven't seen this film yet. But I have enjoyed a fair few artsy horror films before.
What makes me laugh is the fact that most people who don't like these films because they are too slow for them will assume that the only people who could possibly enjoy them are "pretentious hipsters" .......

I couldn't tell you exactly what a hipster is...
I think it's just a word for certain prejudice people to use to insult people who they aren't comfortable with.
But anyway, I have been a huge film buff for all of my adult life and I do not, nor have I ever pretended to like something to try and seem intelligent.
I really don't know what kind of people would do that.
So, how about opening up your minds a little more, people?
Consider the possibility that just because you didn't care for something,
does not mean no one else can.

Some people DO like slower films and appreciate the artistic nature of them, rather than the events that happen in them.
We aren't pretending to, I promise lol.
It just seems like some people are so insecure with the fact they were bored during a film that they have to convince themselves it is the correct way to feel.

"If I was bored then surely everyone else was too?"
This is just a ridiculous attitude to have.
Anyway, all I'm trying to say is not everyone who enjoys artsy films is pretentious.
So, don't be a dick about it.
