Hardest thing about this game...

...is not killing people. The purpose of the game, in order to get the happy ending, is to sneak around the whole time. What fun is that? Okay, I guess it's true that the guards aren't necessarily bad but are just following orders, but still it's fun to kill them.

This game is filled with incredible environments, but you really can't take it all in if you're sneaking past most of it. The only way to fully absorb each level is to kill everyone and then walk around and explore. Yet you get punished with a bad ending for it.

There's nothing like being surrounded and having to fight your way out of the situation. Oh well. I guess in my hands, the kingdom will have to deal with a little chaos.

I respectfully disagree. Part of the fun of immobilizing guards is the notion that you're picking them off one by one. Imagine it...

You're on patrol with two of your squadmates. It's quiet. One of your friends suggests cigars and whiskey later. You begin your rounds and when you turn around, your two squadmates are just... *gone*. You're utterly, inescapably alone on the cold street until you feel yourself seized from behind and asphyxiated...

You wake up later, piled on top of your friends... ON A ROOF... with no access points, as if a raven swooped down and pulled you away.

Your drawers would be soiled at that point...

I agree, I had tons of fun disabling guards and leaving them in a messed up place to wake up in. Under a pile of weepers, next to their dead fellow guards in a trash bin, in "compromising" poses with various disabled and dead others... you get the idea. My favorite is leaving them with crossbow dart wounds that aren't possibly survivable.

I just played through the game not caring what ending I got and the hardest part for me was the bridge level

In a STEALTH based game?
It's lots of fun as that is the game's basic concept.

This game is filled with incredible environments, but you really can't take it all in if you're sneaking past most of it. The only way to fully absorb each level is to kill everyone and then walk around and explore.

Disagree 100%.
Having played both ways: First time killing every guard I saw and the second time being sneaky and stealth like.
I took in and saw much more of the environment the second playthrough as I had to use the environment a lot more to be stealthy.

I agree. I enjoy killing my enemies and potential enemies. Which was the same approach I took when I played the Hitman series. In this game you play as a professional hitman or assassin. You are given two or three targets to eliminate.
Eliminating any others will actually lower your score. Knocking them unconscious however does not count.
I do end up killing more than just the chosen targets because it's fun that way.
I didn't play just to win a high score at the end.
