I figured out why David considers himself God

In Prometheus, Elisabeth Shaw prays to God to get pregnant.

David caused her to get pregnant by infecting Holloway with black goo.

Therefore, David concludes he must be that God that humans pray to, since he was able to achieve that.

Pretty good, eh?

Not bad but I think he was batshit crazy before that.

He had that frustrated genius vibe going since he was created I imagine.
