Sunday Night's Ratings

I don't post this to pour salt into anyone's wounds. It does not bring me pleasure to report news that's unfortunate or that may result in a TV series destruction. I do scratch my head at many viewers who state they watch the show objectively yet defend it's flaws as though it's the greatest show in Cable programming. So without further delay I'll report that the ratings for Sunday's show were probably at a series low. We can't tell because the first time in this show's history (or with any show that I've ever tracked) the ratings dipped below what was reported. In other words of the 100+ shows broadcast on Sunday LWS did not even make the top 100.

Breaking Bad was Sunday's top cable program with a 3.2 way up from last week's 2.6 adults 18-49 rating. NFL Countdown and Real Housewives of New Jersey tied for second with each earning a 1.1. NFL Countdown was even with last week, while Real Housewives of New Jersey was up from a 1.0.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100.

The death clock starts now: 12:48pm EST Tuesday Sept 17th.

I don't think I've ever seen a show lose such a large percentage of its lead in.

I thought about 3 weeks ago it didn't hit the top 100 either? Then it dropped it ratings and hit the board at like 92. Either I am remembering incorrectly, or it appeared on a revised countdown, because i swear it didn't make it before.

Still, this is obviously terrible news.

Hey, at least AMC is gonna air the remaining episodes. I can't help if no one else likes the show.

So pretty much almost everyone who watched Breaking Bad either turned the channel or turned off the TV and then came back for Talking Bad.

I get that AMC wanted LWS to piggy back BB, but in hindsight, maybe they should have just aired it after BB went off the air, or paired it with The Killing or something. This has been awful.

Just seeing the same preview for a month turned me off!
