Episode 9 - Death Penalty talk in car

in that episode when Frank admits to Sean the killing of the cop when they are driving in the car Sean suggests he could turn himself in but he might get the death penalty. Talks about death row and how many years he might be there and so on. Ummmm....Michigan doesn't have the death penalty. In point of fact Michigan has not had it since it obtained statehood , like ever , seriously. These are cops and yet they don't know there is no death penalty in their own state....a homicide cop no less , it was a decent show overall but fact checking and writing like this played a part into why it wont be back I'm sure. Well that and really it was made to be a 13 episode or so maxi-series to be honest not a multi-season long running show.
