What a difference blonde hair and forehead bangs makes....
Maya had quite a stunning look in her earliest scenes. When looking her up here on imdb, I was pretty stunned myself to see she is the actress who played the despicable, scheming black-haired Olivia Taylor, the daughter of President Allison Taylor in the last regular full season of "24"!!
The big difference is the blonde hair, but the forehead bangs in the earliest scenes really tops off the look. In later episodes, the bangs are gone and the billboard-space-for-rent forehead is back (as in "24") and it really isn't flattering.
