Plot stolen from SIX FEET UNDER (spoilers)

Since writer-director Soloway was a writer-producer on SIX FEET UNDER, I was a little shocked to see that she shamelessly stole one of the more famous Brenda storyline from SFU to put it in this mediocre effort, namely the main female character accepting to attend an ''afternoon session'' between the prostitute and one of her older male client ... (like Brenda did with her prostitute friend Melissa in one of the earlier seasons of SFU). How original !

My thoughts exactly. It also has the same premise, more or less. A couple becomes apathetic to one another and the confused female uses a 'whore' to spice things up.

That's not exactly original. Hell, didn't Rebecca Gayheart get busted buying hookers for her and her husband to have 3somes with?

I didn't remember that specific SFU storyline, but the setting seemed to be completely borrowed from Six Feet Under -- its kind of the same weird, affluent LA family dynamic.

It seems like Soloway wasn't happy with how things were handled in that season 2 plotline. The actress who played Melissa had a precarious health condition that also effected her tenure on Star Trek: Enterprise.
