Why didn't the guys do a better job covering for their boy?

When Matt (Jennie's husband's) got caught in bed with McKenna, why didn't his "friends" alert him "your wife is coming" and stall for him, get him out of that situation. They let Jennie walk right in on him. They didn't give him a heads up at all. The correct Bro action would've been one guy runs to alert him, get him up and to the bathroom to shower, while the other two stall the ladies and tell Jennie her husband drank too much and got sick.

If they were not willing to do that, they shouldn't have let it happen in the first place. They all should've c-blocked the guy if they weren't going to cover for him later.

Or maybe adults should be responsible for their own actions?

Although it was all music and no dialogue, you could see both disappointed looks as well as words of admonishment. But in the end, you can't stop someone from doing what he wants. They were all high and drunk and if he wanted to mess around, and he clearly didn't want to listen to them, to hell with it. His life.

Then when his wife came barging in, they figured serves him right. This is adult life, not college. There's no "bros before hoes" when you're married, with a job and kids. You act stupid and can't keep it in your pants, you gotta sleep in the bed you made.

Honestly though, they should have kicked her out to begin with. That's what I'd have done.

Agreed not every guy thinks like a teenager. These were adult Men in their 40's. They were clearly uncomfortable with what was happening so why the hell would they take part in a cover up. Dick move on the lousy husband who couldn't "keep his vows"
