So Stratham is an undercover DEA agent & tries to retire undercover ...

So, Stratham is an undercover DEA agent in a biker gang. Then, he tries to retire undercover, in the backwoods of Louisiana.

Yet, in both incarnations, he retains the strongest possible English accent.

I mean, it's not even a "Canadian"-ish accent that he could (possibly) use as his backstory. No. It's a completely, unreconstructed English accent.

How is this remotely plausible?

reply

It isn't. It's Statham.

it's possible because some people no matter how long the live away from home can't lose there regional accent, like Statham in real life obviously.

If Kevin Costner's Robin Hood was American, anything is possible.
