so...freaking...BAD...

A 5, only because Statham and (the initially-perceived-as-miscast-but-actually-pretty-good) Franco added a point each just from performances. Predictable, preposterous at times, all the same kind of crap you're used to seeing, without one single thing you're not. There are way better films of this type. Rent or NetFlix one of them instead, I'm telling you.

Oh, and by the way: Thanks, filmmakers, for completely dropping the ball on that Susan Hetch (Rachelle Lefevre) character.

There is a deleted scene with her which would have immediately followed Broker at the prison, but supposedly they wanted to end on a "cool" note and dropped it…though dropping her entire story thread would have been a better move. Nothing wrong with the actress; her character is simply one pointless inclusion among a plethora of clichéd choices.

A-yup. Plus she was cute, and expanding on that might've helped.

A rating of 5 means it's not "freaking bad". Please stop raping the system.

I was thinking production values and some of the acting, I mean "acting," or a little of both, and Statham, who's good in these things generally, brought it up to mediocre. But the script...guhh. So I saw it as a low 5.

Eh, different strokes. (I'm usually not argumentative with people who look like they shred throats with their teeth.)

4/10.
