Lady Mae, wherefore art thou?

I know Katherine Kelly had a baby and moved to Australia. But of all the characters on the show, I found her the most bewitching, the most complex, the most beguiling -- her sexiest feature being her backbone when standing up against Loxley.. Fingers crossed.

I heard that she was coming back next series. I think that it will be interesting with her return and the Dolly sisters.

One of the things I read said she went to Paris and had her own fashion house. If true, she could return by becoming a supplier to Selfridge's.

Is she still a "Lady" having divorced Loxley?

I love Lady Mae's character, too. I hope she does come back next season!

I saw a preview for upcoming Masterpiece shows and she was in one of them, called Guilty, I think. I haven't seen the actress in anything else and it would be fun to see her in a non-period piece.

PS "wherefore" means why not where :)

I just finished re-watching the season finale. At the board meeting where Loxley tries to get Harry removed, Harry says that Lady Mae is re-married. Loxley says, "She wouldn't be if you hadn't paid for the divorce."
I really never cared for her.

I could be a morning person if morning happened at noon.

I fear you are in the minority than.

I like that she actually had an arc and grew as a person. From price-wife enjoying her wealth to doing the right thing wrt the war-profiteering.
If they bring her back (*fingers crossed*) i hope it is as a happily married woman who has taken control of her life/career and not as a shrill ex-wife to Loxley.

Actually, I remember thinking that Lady Mae figured out Delphine's intentions toward Selfridge because she was the same type of devious person. It takes one to know one. It was just lucky that in that case, Mae happened to actually be a friend to Rose and Henry.

I thought that she was so clever, knowing what Delphine was up to! I thought she was shady, but I didn't figure her to be after Harry! I'm usually the last person to know that somebody is up to no good--I was so glad that Mae figured it out before Delphine was able to wreak havoc on that family!
