Started watching Mr. Selfridges on news years day and fell in love with it mainly the relationship between Agnes and Henri. The moment he asked for her help I knew I had to carry on watching. Just gutted they left ?

Victor and Violette were never going to work within the context of the show--Harry was furious at the thought of his former waiter romancing his daughter. And Victor knew Violette was with him for the thrill not the reality of the world. Within the context of history, they wouldn't have worked out because Violette, like her sisters, fulfilled Harry's snobby dreams by marrying an aristocrat.
