It picks up.
The second half is vastly superior to the first. This was better than expected, but still very predictable. IT's best strength is certainly it's action sequences. The climax loses a little to much of the mystery, wanders into more traditional films in the genre. Overall, better than 95% of the films out their made on this kind of budget, and while the writing and characterisation could be better, the two leads carry the film reasonably well. It's worth your time, but it ain't better than sex.
