Gore and Barf Quotient? -- SPOILERS

I was watching this and my partner & I got to the part where he starts puking the blood he drank from the jar Clif brings him. My partner almost threw up right then (he's watched the worst horror ever with me, too, including stuff like Cannibal Holocaust and Make Them Die Slowly). I wasn't watching the screen knowing I can't handle puking scenes, so I made it through, but now I have to finish it solo.

What I ask of you, IMDB: please tell me about gore and further barfing ahead because I'm going this alone, and I've got zero tolerance for graphic puking, throat and wrist slitting, impalement, eye gouging, puking on impalements, etc. YET I am a massive horror fan and love body horror.

Please help! Thanks.

I'm only just watching this movie now so my reply will be way too late! Just curious-did you manage to make it through the movie?
I also have issues with bodily functions and seriously think I may have a phobia cos anything to do with it freaks me out.I hate it when cartoon characters do it too and run out of the room with my hands over my ears. Even writing about it now makes me uncomfortable! I've honed my radar skills and can usually guess when it's going to happen but I do get caught out and then I'm stressed out for the rest of the movie. We need a site (if there's not one already) that warns us when a sick scene is due to happen.

If that part bothered you guys that much, what about him projectile barfing up the pasta (all over Clif's pasta too!) and then him falling down and slipping in it? LOL That came before the jar of blood.

Just so you know for future movies: Each movie/TV show on IMDB has a 'Parents Guide' section where you can look up how much gore and gross stuff it has. Might be helpful to refer to that before watching something so you don't barf like Derek. ;-)
