Is season 2 better? Like A LOT faster paced?

I watched all of season 1 when it first came out but I couldn't get myself to watch season 2 worrying it'd also be crazy slow and boring.

It's just as boring and slow. Less throwaway characters like Chasseur though.

I was up and down with it. It seemed like it had a pretty good clip at parts, then dragged in others. I am not completely sold on this show yet, but I am going to give Season 2 a whirl.

For me, season 1 was better. I'm not sure I'd say season 2 was faster paced, but I guess it had more going on overall (but a lot of it seemed like overkill).

I also liked season 1 better.

Season 1 pace captured the mood and set the tone for me. Season 2 was too quick, as a fan of the series I overlooked the predictable plot points and Shelley recast but was disappointed. Hopefully season 3 will deliver.
