I have watched about 5-6 episodes of season one, and have had to stop. I literally have no clue whatsoever what is going on. While visually fantastic, the rest of the show is a mess of confusing narratives and plots. It's like someone on tons of drugs decided to try and make a horror-based show... But didn't do enough drugs to make it actually decent or in anyway comprehensible.

Nothing ever gets explained, the plot seems to constantly be stagnating and not really going anywhere and when you think it's going somewhere it goes to another, completely different plot. Also there's dialogue that is either almost whispered from the sounds of it or still manages to somehow not be understandable. I don't know how they managed to make a show that's based on the horror genre so absolutely boring, but they did it!
shareI don't find it confusing, but it just kind of meanders. A lot of what happens is pointless. What exactly do you find confusing? It's really just a bad show that tries to be weird in order to disguise how terrible and aimless it is.
I re-watched it, and it's not so much as it's confusing as boring. It goes from a plot and never seems to finish the plot, sort of meanders about and starts a new plot, but it's like it does it in a way where you don't know a new plot is starting so you think it's all going to connect to one another, but it never does and it all just seems utterly pointless. Pointless is a good word to describe it I guess. Pointless and boring.
