Hemlock Grove Final Season?!? WTF

I guess people don't know a good show is about new and creative exploration and that's exactly what Hemlock Grove is. I've never seen a show that finds so many ways yo pique the viewer's interest and also touch the darker side of it's characters in such a way that everyone who has an imagination can relate. The mystery and adventure of this show will be missed...Too bad they can't cancel more reality shows and less great shows like this. Hopefully they'll decide to continue one day by following up with a spinoff or a movie but something tells me this has Carnivale deja vu all over, only this show will have an abrupt ending...Only 10 episodes...Better be f@#king awesome

"They" (Netflix) don't even produce reality shows as far as I know. Hemlock Grove is the first Netflix original show to be cancelled. Netflix most likely didn't want to be associated with a show with such bad reviews.

This is a big enough money cow to keep going. Netflix just doesn't like the slow build up of the show. They don't think the show will produce enough but with patience they could've seen a great plot unfold. It's all in the books by Brian Mcgreevy. Great potential wasted. Reality shows have already enslaved the American mind. They don't need Netflix help

Not sure what you're talking about. There is only one Hemlock Grove novel. The author decided not to continue with the book series.

Clearly Hemlock Grove isn't a cash cow because Netflix cancelled it. Netflix has plenty of different types of shows, some with "slow build", so I don't see why that would be a cancellation reason.

More likely is that they didn't like the poor quality of the show and being associated with a show with horrible reviews.

Horrible reviews don't mean anything to some people, especially if it's from the critics. Movies like Birdman prove that the critics don't know a good movie from the hole in their arse. As far as your opinion on the show, everyone is entitled to that but I haven't seen one other Netflix show that piqued my interest like the Hemlock Grove, with the exception of Daredevil(Which will still go underrated and get no major awards because sci-fi and comic book based shows or movies are always overlooked by those same critics who shunned movies like Nightcrawler, Snowpiercer, Starred Up, and The Guest from even a nomination but I guess that's what lack of imagination does to even the world of film). If you can name one other Netflix original show still running that is a slow build up show that has more of a fan following than Hemlock Grove then my hat's off to you bud...

Btw I looked at he user reviews for Hemlock Grove on IMDB and almost all of the reviews had only good things to say about Hemlock Grove so...yeah

Also, Hemlock Grove comes in 2 volumes. That's 2 books. Still waiting to hear back about any slow build up Netfix shows that are good btw...

Meh stop whining this is the first netflix original show also, it's modeled heavily after twin peaks, which mr. roth had worked with david lynch on his movie inland empire. It was pretty obvious with the intensity of the the first season they'd be wrapping it up after one or two more so 3 seasons, time enough to wrap up the character's and storylines = one long ASS movie which is awesome in my book. p.s. buy the BOOK.

I had no idea this was renewed for a third and final season to be honest. I stopped a few episodes into the second. It was so boring. I liked how weird the first one was.

A bit of the old ultraviolence...

How about 'Roman the Rapist'? Ya know, since his character is a rapist.....
