Does anyone actually like her being recast in this?

I like the original girl. I hate recasting.

Her voice gets me too, it use to annoy me when she was on the show Californication.

I do prefer the original actress for Shelley, she had a more softer/innocent presence.

Agree with you. The original Shelley and her body double (sort of!) were perfection. Madeleine is a fine actress but miscast in this role.

She's far from fine, man. Her acting almost ruined Californication .

She's AWFUL. Awful baby voice. She must of gotten the role by knowing somebody or sleeping with somebody or something. It makes no sense. She's just awful.

Terrible voice, no "presence" and all the sweet-terribleness of the past is gone.
