They focused on the wrong things...
This season would have been good if they'd have focused more on different storylines to the ones they did, I was so disappointed that it hardly focused on Spivak at all, when surely that should have been the most important aspect? And that family he supposedly murdered? That plot was just abandoned apart from two random phone calls that barely achieved anything... The Upir cancer would have been so interesting, if we hadn't have focused so much on Olivia and that Chango *beep* that was genuinely cringey.
Also, as a side note, why was Spivak so Canadian? He was from Germany or somewhere around there originally,then lived in Hemlock Grove for years, so where has he picked up this Canadian accent from?
