They don't even try to make Shelley look tall anymore.

I was just thinking that before I checked out this board. Season 1, my impression was she was supposed to be like a Frankenstein monster, and was even bigger than Roman. There was a lot of mystery. Now I don't know what she's supposed to be. It's like it's a totally different character.

Indeed. It wouldn't have been so noticeable if various characters didn't occasionally make reference to how tall/big she was (supposed to be). Every time it happens, you're like "Heyyy.... yeah, waitaminute!"

There were a few scenes were her was tall, maybe if there was a S4 we could learn that she can change her height.

I just went on a rant to my hubby about this! Also, why did her hair and scarring totally change without explanation in season 2?? So annoying.

Shelley is my fave on the show but what was irritating to me is how bad her fx prosthetics looked. there are amazing FX people working in the industry today and whoever worked on this season couldn't have done a better job with Shelley's face. it's literally looked like she was had a flap over her face. it looked like the glue (or whatever) used to hold the fx piece in place came undone.

I also couldn't stand the tasteless, primitive, animalistic gangster rap they included in the soundtrack for season 3. Wretched and completely out of place.

Yes it really bothered me because I would be into the story and what was happening and then I would be pulled out of the storyline because the character didn't look right!
