MAJOR PLOT HOLES IN SEASON THREE! (SPOILERS)

I HATE the way they ended things!

The boys were *very* close. They even have sex at one point. Yeah... it was a threesome with Miranda, but it's implied that that their feelings for one another were... complicated... at best.

They go from caring about one another (perhaps even on some unspoken/unexplored romantic level) to Peter wanting Roman dead. No questions asked. He waits a whole month, kills Roman, and becomes a vargof (sp) in the process. The silver coloring of his wolf pelt is an indication.

I thought Oliva's character had a fitting end. Famke Janssen must have had a blast playing crazy. The two big reveals where she was hallucinating her male lover, and the other, where she was revealed to have physically deteriorated, were particularly good.

It was implied that Peter and Roman were distantly related through Olivia's baby. Did they just drop that?

As for Miranda, I feel like it was a case of "Bye Felicia". They (the writers) forgot about her the WHOLE season, then killed her off towards the end. Wth?

Don't even get me started on Destiny. It was out of character for Roman to kill her like that. It was out of character for Destiny to flip like that.

What the heck happened this season? Were the writers drunk? The only one I was pleased with, was Shelley. I remember, in season two, just wanting to give her a hug. I'm glad she had her happy ending.

There's MUCH more of season three that I have issues with, but it's too much to write here.

Did anyone else have issues with this season? Were the writers just very sloppy? You're thoughts and input are welcome.

Also, what the heck happened to Peter's mother?! Where was she while crap was going down with her son?!

His mom got sent overseas last season. Remember she had got into trouble, and they had to send her away. They breifly mention her, when Peter is talking to one of his friends/family.

They drop a hint of Olivia's deterioration when she passed by the mirror, while talking to her hallucinated lover. It happened so fast that I had to pause and back up to make sure.

"He", chango, broke the mirror so Olivia didn't notice her appearance. Hers was the only storyline of the main characters I enjoyed.

Peter didn't wait a month to kill Roman. Changing when there was NOT a full moon is what turned him into a wolf for life.
In season 1 flashback to Olivia's childhood, there were hints of relation as he daughter Magdalena (now Annie) was fathered by a gypsy boy that stole from Olivia and before he left her. She woke to find him gone and cut off her tail! (Yet another thing they never explained) resulting in her commuting suicide. That's when she awoke Upir. Also not explained, she became Upir as a young teen yet aged? Annie was born Upir and grew into mid-30's? But is over a century old?

reply

I assumed they age slowly.
