Worth watching bow?
All 3 seasons now available, so is it really good? Binge worthy?
shareIt's campy. Not perfect. But not bad. It's like a cop show with teens that happen to be a werewolf and vampire. Think of a more mature and better written Teen Wolf. The characters are strong, the supporting characters contain just enough mystery and charisma to keep things fresh. Some of the effects are lousy, but that's not really the point of the show.
I let you know me... see me. I gave you a rare gift, but you didn't want it - Hannibal Lecter
It's shockingly, embarrassingly bad: awful on every level. If you like 'so bad it's good' type stuff then I would go for it as it is occasionally funny on that level. Check out the reviews for the show: it's hard to find a positive one.
Hemlock Grove remains what it’s been since season 1: innovatively bad
The show is good for what it is.
shareMeh if you have time to kill. If this wasn't the last season I probably wouldn't spend the time on this season. First season was so-so but what rubbed me the wrong way is Roman, one of the main characters, is a rapist.
shareI thought his mother somehow made him do it? He says in season 3, episode 3, he didn't even remember but Olivia knew because she orchestrated it.
shareSeason one, absolutely. End of two, imo, jumped the shark. I'm only watching season 3 for conclusion and Bill S ??
shareCouldn't bare through 1 1/2 episodes. It's a teen show pretending to be more
shareThe show starts better than most vampire / werewolf "teen" shows really. The visuals are really good imho - it's not just production value it's real creative and visually interesting.
Season 1 is worth watching if you like this sort of show. But imho from the sason 1 finale it goes downhill fast and the ending is terrible. The problem is the writing and the story lines.
