How did she contract the virus/cancer that eventually killed her?

Wow, did you sleep through the whole season 3?

Dr. Arnold Spivak the Jarmungandr infected her and many other Upir's.

She (Olivia Godfrey) went to Dr. Arnold Spivak to get a injection, to not get sick, so that the doctor's and other people think she is human, because in real life she don't need injections because Upir's don't get sick.

Thats how she get sick.

Thats what she (Olivia Godfrey) sad in the TV Show.

Season 3 was not a great season.
