Olivia was TOO villainous

Olivia was my favorite character, she appears to be a fan favorite as well. Mostly I think she was the best thing about the show but I feel like the writers made her too carelessly evil sometimes. Killing her baby in particular was a visceral moment for me, that was tough to take. Killing Norman as well felt a little premature and unnecessary (he could've stuck around a while), same with killing Shelly's clone.

I preferred Olivia when she was just selfish and mean and manipulative, I didn't need her brutalizing people to get across the fact she lived for herself. I liked seeing her struggle with trying to be a good person when really she has nothing but bad impulses. Anyone else agree?

She's been killing people from the get-go. The female wildlife officer was murdered by Olivia in season 1. Pryce cleaned up after the female wildlife officer was killed and mentioned (don't quote me) that he was tired of cleaning up her messes, implying it was the norm and he didn't seem a bit surprised by her behavior.
She also killed Marie (S2?) and the officers brother.

They would present an interesting character and then kill them.

The brother and sister that she killed were a complete waste.
