Just curious who was the one that created the upir virus infecting olivia.

Spivak created the virus to wipe out Upirs.

Spivak did. In the confrontation between Peter, Roman, and Spivak in episode 9, Spivak says something along the lines that the humans are for his kind. No more competing with the uiprs. I think it was pretty much about protecting their food source.

Seems like such a weak reason to wanna wipe out all upirs though. There didn't seem to be that high a upir to human ratio.
