How did Roman find out about Peter? (Mini spoiler)

I think I spaced out during this moment, but how did Roman find out Peter was a werewolf? I remember Roman gave him a note in class saying: "can I watch?"
But I must have missed the scene where Peter actually tell Roman what he is.
Can someone tell me? Thanks 😊

In season 1 there was a scene where Peter transformed into a werewolf right before Roman and Peter's mother. This happened at Peter's house in the woods.

So, that is how Roman found out about the true form of Peter.

the "can I watch?"-note was before he saw Peter transform, so I'm assuming the OP means; how did he know before he saw him transform =)
