Pop or Soda?

Don't remember which episode but Peter realizes a girl is lying about being from the mid west because she says soda rather than pop. I am from Saint Louis and no one here would ever say pop, just wondering what other mid western towns say soda.

Cleveland. Soda. I think. Lot of people here say pop though.

Dude, I wondered what the hell that was about. I'm from Washington state and I've always said pop. Also, out of all the people I know from the Northwest, I think only 1 of them says soda. "Only people from the Midwest say pop"...Really? =P
