Which daughter? If you're refering to the torturer's daughter, then yes, she's dead; If you're talking about the cop's daughter, it isnt really clear, as the last shot of the movie is her unconscious (or dead) body over a bed inside the killer's house, but everything indicates that she wouldn't be found;
He buried the heads of the kids, but he never says where.
The cops daughter is alive in the room, but shes just passed out. He either had his way with her, or was going to when he got back. Than he would torture her after she woke up and would take her head. But unfortunately she probably wont be found since its a sound proof room and can only be opened from the outside. So she will basically starve to death.
Which would need to happen since the killer told the cop if he dosent help him it would be the biggest mistake he has ever made in his life, and its true.
