Has anyone here read the book? It got some very good reviews and was a bestseller and all. And so I thought I'd try the movie, but I was disappointed. How does it compare?

Thanks for the reply! Better in what way? More complex plot? More rounded characters? More thought provoking?

The characters are more fleshed out but they're still pretty cookie cutter for YA fiction.

And as with any book, they have more time to explain things and make the plot more complex.
