Did they change the boy actor who played the President's son?

I DVR'd this off TNT.I could swear the actor who played the President's son in the scenes before the Presidential limousine bridge accident had blonde curly hair and wore glasses.The boy actor whose played the son after those scenes had darker non curly hair and no glasses.I rewatched the first few scenes again. I could swear it is a different boy a actor.I've never heard where they changed actors during the filming of a movie but not for every scene.Could be mistaken? That's just my two cents.

He wore glasses and a baseball cap before. No cap or glasses afterward, but same straight, longish brown hair throughout.

Kids that age do grow a lot in 18 months. I think they did the right thing in changing his appearance.🐭
