Would the president have sacrificed his son?
They suggest that the president would be able to hold out as long as the terrorists don't find his son. Should any president sacrifice their son for the good of the nation and the world?

shareShould he? I'd say yes. Especially considering his son would die anyway when the North Koreans nuke the country. Would he? Depends on the president. In this particular situation, Lynn Jacobs and Trumbull don't believe he'd be able to handle it. Based on the fact that he couldn't handle the vice president and secretary of defense's relatively mild torture, they'd be right.
BUT they ended up getting it out of him anyway without torturing him or his son and that's what I don't understand. I feel like I missed something.
Please don't feed the trolls.
