Reality?

None of you believe there's any "reality" involved, do you?
It appears to me to be all scripted. Doesn't matter though.
I think the show is really growing on me.

It seems scripted sometimes, but there are moments or reactions that seem more genuine or "real."

If Nathan revealed that it is scripted, I would continue to watch. Even if it isn't 100% real, I still find it hilarious. His delivery and the marketing schemes he comes up with are a great combination.

He really did post the Yelp review for the investigator from the finale and the youtube video from the zoo was also posted long before the show aired, so at the very least, he is following through with the marketing ideas.

I would guess that if anything was scripted, it's the business owners that know about the plan, but the customers who are not in on the joke.

According to an interview I read with Nathan, the gas station guy talking about children's pee was real. One weird/funny moment from hours of footage.

Watch Veronica Mars!

Yeah it's mostly real in my opinion...there are segments that are mainly satirical skits more than anything else like the Product Placement date, Funeral Home, Claw of Shame where virtually everyone gets that it's a big joke...even then though there's usually some genuine moments spliced in like the 'consultant' getting annoyed, Nathan coaxing the funeral lady in to saying her profession is 'bitter-sweet', the auditions!

Also I'm sure the businesses all know they're participating in a comedy show so while it's not literally scripted as such they basically understand what's going on.
