Did anyone else's heart sink a bit...

When Nathan pointed people in the direction of Elias' store? I know Nathan was a jerk, as per usual, but that was the one time where I feel he actually made up for being one. This episode seemed far, FAR more real than other ones.

The scenes when he "dumped" Elias and then came back begging for help were shot later.

How do you know this? Not doubting you, these things happen all the time, just want some clarification.

In a 20 minute episode every second, every scene of screen time is for a purpose. In this case it was establishing plausible deniability of Elias' involvement in "Dumb Starbucks" and building the storyline of Nathan alienating people so that he can redeem himself later. Oops, sorry... spoiler alert. There's no other reason to attend Elias' shop with a full light/sound/camera/lawyer crew.

This is a stupid response

Have a grown up explain it to you.

There are real life morons who post on imdb. It's better that you learn it now than to become disenchanted later.

Wait, why did/would your heart sink? If you thought he actually made up for being a jerk, I'd assume you thought that was a good thing, right?

No, I kind of thought Elias' business deserved to fail. The guy didn't have a menu and seemed to want to create an atmosphere where he didn't want to help or serve customers. Just typical hipster stuff. This is going off what the show showed though.

I thought the whole Dumb Starbucks was just making fun of his coffee shop and he eventually got it, and that's why he backed out of helping Nathan. Could be wrong though.
