Season 3 premiere. Read the writing on the wall
Alligators, little doors...
I loved how Nathan's plans got more complex and more ridiculous as it went on. People show up, they need formal attire. They come back with formal attire, they find out the TVs are behind a tiny door. They go through the tiny door and find an alligator in the next room and they all give up on the $1 TV.
Then Nathan's plan to get Alan declared legally insane to protect him from litigation by telling the psychologist he has a delusion that he thinks he manages an electronics store, and having him tell the story about what Nathan made him actually do for the promotion which obviously sounds insane.
Then his undercover fake reality dating show he used to try and get inside information from single Best Buy employees, which he gave up on because he felt bad for leading these women on. "That's really weird that you take someone on a date and then ask them 'hey dude, like, why don't we sue Best Buy?'"
Then there's the mock trial he set up to coach his $1 TV buyers, and then confronted them with the thing he filmed where he was telling them to go to Best Buy and buy the TV for him, after he pushed them to lie about why they were buying the $1 TVs.
The premise was funny enough, but the effort Nathan went to in an attempt to pull it off, and then his response after his original plan failed was just amazing.
