The use of handheld cameras in this movie about makes you sick. I guess I am getting old, as I am having trouble lately with shaky videos. I had to close my eyes during parts of this one. It was too much, it is 2024. GoPro cameras have awesome video stabilization, why do people insist on doing it this way?

shareYeah the trailer was basically 5 minutes of the entire movie. There is a scene of Nicolas Cage just standing in a field waiting for his kid to come back, but the camera was just supposed to come from behind him, and swoop around to his side, and it was jarring at how bad just that one camera shot looked. The second half of the movie is a bit better, but holy cow the first half was tough for me to watch.
All in all though, I really enjoyed this movie.
