Ehhh! I wasn't all-that impressed.
Initially, I thought this movie was going to be good. But it really just didn't do a whole lot for me. And honestly, I think it was such a missed opportunity. I thought the overall cast and setting of the film was good. But the story itself just kinda dragged on and went nowhere. The actor who played young Jeff did a good job, but I think he just didn't have much of a story to go along with. This film focused on such strange details that didn't seem all that significant or meaningful. I don't know...maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm just harshly judging the film. But I've watched it at least 3 different times now, and I still don't get where all the praise and good reviews are coming from. And one last thing that bothered me, was the ending. For a film about Jeffery Dahmer, in my opinion, there should've been at least 'one kill'. If I were the director, I would've at least shown Jeff's first kill, that way the ending would've pulled the audience into the suspense of it all, for the last parting scene.
