Almost $900m

How is this possible? I am just blown away that this movie is still making money. I am sure the studio is working on a sequel now to cash in.

It's at about $908 million now and #4 domestically.

So it still has some life left. I see it ending around $930m, which much be an incredible surprise for Sony Pictures.

I just looked at Box Office Mojo again and was surprised Jumanji is still in the Top Ten (The Last Jedi fell out of that a long time ago). It just refuses to leave is currently at $928 million - and that isn't even the updated figure.

Looks like I'm going to be off and this could actually hit $950-60 million when it's all said and done. Seems like it's squeezing a lot of last-minute profit from overseas as well.

As Jack Black's character says in the movie, "That's insaaaaaane."

But will BP pass Jumanji worldwide?

Certainly BP won't top Jumanji internationally, will it?

as ZZ Top once said, its got legs...

Sony is willing to keep this in theaters as long as financially possible for bragging rights. This is their highest grossing USA domestic release that is NOT a Spider-Man film. Jumanji is Sony's wannabe next franchise.

If Sony could ride this out to $1 Billion they would.

There really is no point by Sony of keeping this in theaters (mostly overseas) for the very few extra dollars in this attempt to hit $1 Billion. 163 days in release is a better than average run. Especially for overseas.

Tops Thor 3 as well, poor Thor. Guess he wasn't funny enough.
