It seems as if they forgot it was supposed to be funny. But then, there's nothing funny about Liam Neeson.

We saw a different trailer then. And it goes without saying others saw the same one as you; I saw these reactions coming miles away. As for Neeson, he isn’t going for laughs in the trailer... but whatever. Unimpressed, unamused, and uninterested individuals will complain regardless of how humorous, not humorous, silly, serious, different, not different etc. this movie will be.
shareI'm someone who usually goes pretty easy on movies in terms of giving them a favorable opinion, but this trailer did nothing for me. It does not look entertaining on any level: story, humor or action.
I believe the word many would use is: Uninspired.
I personally got a kick out of it, though I understand why some were underwhelmed by it. But if it does fail to bring anything new or inspiring to the series, I’m still in as long as it’s a fun and well-made movie.
In all fairness, the main thing that excites me about this movie is the Hemsworth & Thompson re-teaming. They look good together.
I've never been a big fan of the MIB movies so that may be coloring my opinion.
The previous films were all, to me, just okay. Decently entertaining, but nothing I'd write home about and I think the only one I've ever rewatched is the first one.
This one looks like a less entertaining version of the films that have come before it, so yeah, my hype level is pretty low.
Exactly. I walked away wondering how they thought THAT was going to inspire anyone to watch the movie. I'm a fan of MIB movies, even though they peaked with the first one. I'm going to take a pass on this one.
