Looks Like Avery...

Looks like Avery is starting to miss focusing on his music. And I don't mean him producing people's music or playing lead guitar for Juliette or Layla, but actually singing and performing his own material. Jonathan Jackson is super talented and although I love his character Avery with Juliette and the fact that he is a father, I want to see his character focus on himself.

His character is too talented to sit on the sidelines while his inner circle like Juliette, Will, Scarlett, Gunnar, etc continue to get their opportunities. I hope we see Avery get his own opportunity at stardom. He deserves it. The guy started out as a douchebag in season 1 and has developed into one of the most level headed characters (he has his moments of course where you want to slap him), but I want to see his character be more than just Juliette's boyfriend or the father Juliette's baby.

When his character was a part of The Exes, I was so happy with that setup, but of course it became all about Scarlett and Gunnar. Here's to hoping Avery gets the music opportunity he has been looking for.

I really hope so. Jonathan Jackson's voice is amazing and it definitely wasn't showcased like it should've been the last couple seasons. I would love to see Avery have some success on his own so he doesn't just become Mr. Juliette Barnes, ya know?

I agree with this. He doesn't need to be left in the shadows of Juliette; he needs to be out front again with the XXXs or with another group where he leads. He would be a much better singing partner with Scarlett than Gunnar...I just don't like Gunnar with Scarlett. I know this makes me probably the only person in the world who doesn't like Gunnar and Scarlett together...lol.
