Who is...
... Rayna's stalker? And what is the significance of the cracked windshield?
shareI think it is the young guy.
shareI think the stalker is the young intern.
He probably bought the SUV she was driving when she and Deacon were in that awful wreck. The cracked windshield is where she hit her head.

Yes, because after it flipped and CAUGHT ON FIRE they fixed all that up and forgot the cracked windshield. Oops.
At least he's not a book burner you Nazi cow.
Yes. You are right! How could I be so stupid? Nashville has ALWAYS made perfect sense and NEVER EVER has continuity issues.
Thanks for putting me straight! I bow down to your superior knowledge of all things Nashville, and probably all things in the Universe. Thanks for being awesome like that.

Anytime! Happy to oblige. You know where to find me in the future.
At least he's not a book burner you Nazi cow.
LOL! But the cracked windshield has to mean something...

"How do you know this?"
"That's what I do... I drink, and I know things."
It's either a subtle hint or a ploy by the writers to give the scene a more ominous feel. Maybe it's a casulty of the last person he stalked. Perhaps they threw a rock at his car as he was speeding away.
At least he's not a book burner you Nazi cow.
I think it's the Billionaire Tech-Guru guy, Zach Welles, from LA. He doesn't seem like the type that takes 'no' for an answer and I believe he even said he was a big fan of hers when his Mother died as a teen, making it a perfect psycho pot of crazy that possibly started in his adolescence?
Transcript that possible backs it up:
Okay, I got... I gotta get this out of the way. I am an insane, out of control fanboy. My mother used to listen to cassettes of your early stuff, and I was hooked...
..She was diagnosed when I was 14. And I basically spent all of high school taking care of her. Being your mother's caregiver doesn't do much for your social awkwardness.
Hmm. Well, you don't seem very socially awkward
Well, that is very kind of you. But, uh, I'm actually incredibly shy. But it was okay. And by the time she died, I was a bitchin' coder.
I'm sorry.
You lost your mother, too.
Man, you know a lot about me.
I told you. I'm a crazy fan. [Chuckles] I own one of Deacon's guitars.
He was definitely my first thought too, but I think that's too easy/obvious.
The intern is a good guess; I didn't think of him. I still don't know what the cracked windshield means though.

The new social media manager!
shareWhat about Vita? She disappeared after Rayna went back on their deal/audition, perhaps she got angry and plotted revenge.
shareOoh, interesting thought! And the cracked windshield because she wouldn't have money for a good car or to fix it? Hmm... But the flowers don't really make sense. Did Vita love Rayna?

It's not Vita. I'm pretty sure it's a dude.
At least he's not a book burner you Nazi cow.
Yeah, I think it's a dude too. But we're just speculating here. Never hurts to throw out any and all ideas.

I agree, i think this show has thrown so many turns in the past, i just never know. I forgot about the flowers, i suppose traditionally that leans to a guy. But then i think hey, love is love- it could be a woman.

And now we've got the super fan who knows all about Rayna's private life to consider. Hmm... the social media intern might just be a red herring. Or the guy on the street was. Hmm...
shareI'm not sure I really care.
There have been some dumb storylines over the years (Rayna trying to make a star of out of the homeless woman comes to mind) but this might be the all timer.
