Is Maddie still emancipated?

Or do they have a way to "cancel" her emancipation?

reply

Typically, an emancipation can't be reversed. If the court finds sufficiently that she can be legally recognized as an adult, then that will remain. The only ways I could potentially see that being reversed is if she was found mentally incompetent and couldn't take care of herself (though this usually comes down to guardianship) or they could prove fraud in the original case.

Or it can be just dropped from the storyline and pretend it never happened.

I'd be ok with that only because it never should've been a storyline to begin with. I'm happy to pretend it never happened.

Easy Bill. You'll give yourself a heart attack and ruin my vacation.

I wish they had continued that storyline just so I could have had the satisfaction of seeing Maddie attempt to live emancipated and come crawling back when she couldn't figure out life on her own.

It sucks that didn't happen because I friggin hate Maddie lol

she pretty did much come crawling back when that scumbag wanted to bang her and laid into Chase for not being there for her..obviously realizing that Chase was nothing but a scumbag. Why do you hate Maddie?

reply

bc she's a spoiled brat who never learns from her mistakes and I just hate the way she treats daphne.
but i guess on the flip side, she's a very realistic character and she's played very well. She's one of the characters I love to hate, and I enjoy watching my least favorite characters get their comeuppance.
which is why I felt like she didn't do enough grovelling after what she put Rayna and Deacon through. In the end she didn't go back to them, Deacon literally burst through the door and saved her. I guess I just would have liked to see a different outcome where she doesn't get saved immediately and actually have to live emancipated and then realize on her own that she was in the wrong. They just keep bailing her out over and over.

plus, there's nothing I hate more than a half-finished storyline
