I was pleasantly surprised!

I must admit, I went into this movie with low expectations, based on what I read about the budget. I'm a long time fan of the zombie/apocalypse genre and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The dialogue and acting were fantastic and, in my opinion, made the whole movie. The plot was very original and made the movie interesting. I loved that they were stuck in the car for a few days, and neither one of them decided they'd sacrifice themselves so the other could get away. I found that to be very realistic and very refreshing for a zombie movie. I was torn on the ending, and after thinking about it for a bit, I now think it was a perfect ending. I couldn't imagine a better way to end it.
I only have one complaint. I thought that the scene where Ben was in the car waiting for Mickey was a little too long. I understand wanting to build anticipation, but I was wondering exactly how long I was going to have to watch Ben wait.
Other than that, this movie shot to #4 on my favorite zombie movies list and I will definitely be recommending it to friends!
