the ending scene where she's bawling her eyes out seem to indicate she loved him romantically. she was heart broken that after all this, he won't leave his wife so she can have him all to herself. i do not believe they've had a sexual relationship, it seems one sided.

These types of people seem to think that sex has to be involved in any type of close relationship. It really irritates me when I come across posts like this.
