Woodshed ruined the whole movie for me
1. Why did Amy wait a day or two to call in the tip about the woodshed? What if they had found the crap (which they did) and got rid of it. Would have made more sense to call on the road heading out of town on a burner phone. And WHY on a landline phone? The phone call may not have been long enough to get a pinpoint location, but long enough to know that the state or region it was made from was NOT from one of the houses on that street.
2. The lawyer sucked. Why did he let Nick and Go just let the crap stay in the shed for DAYS? It wasn't impossible to move. As many times as we saw the camera crews outside Margot's house, they miraculously weren't present while they were standing there with the doors wide open. The completely anonymous tip was ONLY for the shed so once they found it empty and the door-to-door of the neighbors yielded no results, they would have had zero legal grounds to investigate further. The lawyer repeatedly mentioned "staying ahead of the story", but an orgy of incriminating evidence conveniently sitting in (NOT in a storage facility under an assumed name or some other kind of location that someone trying to HIDE something may use but in) his sister's easily accessible woodshed didn't set off ANY alarms?
