The "Missing" photo used throughout the film looks nothing like her

That photo of "Amy" on the posters throughout the film looks nothing like Rosamund Pike. It looks like Isla Fisher, which is weird since Rosamund Pike looks nothing like Isla Fisher.

Are you not entertained?!

I don't see the resemblance to Isla Fisher. I find it kind of an odd that Fincher chose that picture though, she wasn't in character when it was taken. She was at some premiere or award show, look at her imdb profile picture same dress and hairstyle. Either way she looks pretty in the photo so no complaints.

Maybe it wasnt coincidence that the photo was of her not being "her"? Thats consistent with the theme of the movie after all...

Picture may have been manipulated to not look like her, like she manipulated others in the movie. As for the look she had in the film, I recall she was told not to wear make up in some of the scenes to accentuate the difference between her perceived self she wanted to show to others, and her real persona. I think the effect worked quite well in the movie.

The media usually uses the nicest picture of the victim and the worst picture of the suspect.

It's not just the media. Amy's parents are the ones who probably provided that idealized pic of her to the cops, as well as to the volunteer search effort. They chose one that they thought put Amy in the best light, rather than one that necessarily depicted her as she looked at the time of the disappearance as accurately as possible. Vanity, as well as overbearing parenting, like stage parents.

It is Rosamund Pike. It was taken during an event.
