Like most snobs she underestimated hillbillies.

In the book she got roughed up more by them, and a longer time destitute. Agreed, it was well-deserved.

Was thinking you were joking. Yeah she lost the money, but she made out in the end. She got her very own man to control.

Can't really brag too much since that then ended up with that poor ex-boyfriend of hers getting killed during Plan B.

But now that you mention it, I just want to point out that Lola Kirke's brief appearance doesn't get enough credit. That was a really good performance and I enjoyed the character's writing.

And it just goes to show that the 'white trash' that the audience underrated were much cleverer than they would ever be given credit for.
