Was there any reason when Amy was driving that she kept staring into other peoples cars and looking? What was the reason behind that?

She was describing what it meant for her to be a "cool girl" and what she did to appease her husband... when it was flashing to the different girls... they were different personalities...and she was saying basically to be a "cool girl" for her husband, she could be the studious pretty girl...or the carefree party girl...which ever her husband wanted her to be at the time.
