Ludicrous Ending!
I was really into the whole premise of this film until the end. There is no way on God's earth that her story would not have been investigated and there's no way any bloke would stay with that total psychopath!

shareLast thing first - if he leaves, there is no telling what she'll do to their child. She might poison the child's mind so it hates its father, or she might just poison the child.
First thing last - the FBI was convinced that the local cop effed up the entire investigation because they were convinced from the get-go that Nick killed her. Once the FBI says that's it, that's it. They closed the case and there was nothing else that was going to be done, especially not when Nick was reunited with her.

First thing last - ...
I'd run the risk of having an alienated child. As opposed to putting myself in the position of being 'slit-throated-bloke' number two!
Exactly. No sane man would do what he did. He could wake up dead, or wake up with certain appendages missing (Bobbitt style). No way I'd sleep in the same house with that woman. I'd just have to run the risk the child hates me, and hope when the child is an adult would seek me out to find out the real truth. It's unlikely Amy would have harmed the child physically. It is her child after all.
If only it was that easy to get away with murder in real life.
shareAgreed, ruined movie (that was way too slow) all was pointless, wasn't it easier to forgive him and have a child instead of doing aaaaall that?
So go on. Kiss me. Kill me. Do something.
