OK so first thing I thought when I saw Kai was, he's using jade version of the Blades of Chaos from God of War.
He absorbs his enemies like Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat
He then sends out controlled-copies like Agent Orange does
Sifu describes chi like it's the Force.
The writers must play the same video games and read the same comics that I do!
